”Super Fëmmes releases their new song, “Love & War”, on Valentine’s day with star producer Jakke Erixson”.

Super Fëmmes new single ”Love & War”, which will be released on February 14, 2023, is written by Jakke Erixson, Max Brandenburger and Tor Eimon, plus the Super Fëmmes member Denise DeDe Lopez. The song is produced by Tor Eimon and Jakke Erixson, a renowned Swedish musician, composer and producer based in Los Angeles. Erixson has earlier worked with artists like e.g. Christina Aguilera and Rod Stewart and, on the producer side, David Guetta and RedOne among others. Erixson is also one of the composers behind the worldwide hit Kings and Queens by Ava Max.

Super Fëmmes is a Swedish female group representing a powerful and edgy, yet traditional and glamorous pop music that blurs the lines between a variety of influences. 

The group is a constellation of the 90’s pop icons – Emilia Mitiku, DeDe Lopez and Miio with Mia Schotte and Josefine Willers – who joined forces in this super group during 2021 with the purpose to create music and perform together.

Super Fëmmes is a Swedish girl group representing a powerful and edgy, yet traditional and glamorous pop music that blurs the lines between a variety of influences. The group is a constellation of the 90’s pop icons – Emilia Mitiku, Denise ”DeDe” Lopez, Josefine Willers (Miio) & Mia Schotte (Miio) – who joined forces in this super group during 2021 with the purpose to create music and perform together.

Super Fëmmes first song, a cover of the Rozalla hit Everybody’s free (from 1991) was released April 29, 2022 and had in this short period of time reached great traction, both in Sweden and internationally (markets like US, UK and Germany). The song is produced by the renowned team Hertzberg & Funke who had recent successes with hits like Save tonight.

The second single Guilty Pleasure was a released June 17, 2022. The song is written by Collin Idzikowski, Tor Eimon, Julia Gartha, Jakke Erixson plus the Super Fëmmes member Denise DeDe Lopez. It is produced by Jakke Erixson, a Swedish musician, composer and producer based in Los Angeles. Erixson has earlier worked with artists like e.g. Christina Aguilera and Rod Stewart and, on the producer side, Max Martin, David Guetta and RedOne among others.

Both singles have passed over 100 000 streams on Spotify. The band has received a lot of media exposure during the year, they have, among other things, made live performances in the programs Lotta på Liseberg and Bingolotto on TV4.

Despite the fact that the constellation only existed for 1.5 years, Super Fëmmes has a large established audience thanks to previous solo careers, this became especially clear during the summer when the band toured with the festival ”We who love the 90s” and had great success. The summer tour also included Stockholm Pride and several city festivals.

Emilia Mitiku

Her world hit ”Big Big world” had break through internationally when it was released in 1998. Emilia was discovered in 1996 by Lars Anderson, son of ABBA’s manager, Stig Anderson. She used the mononym of Emilia in the first years of her career, but more recently she has started to perform under the name of Emilia Mitiku, using her father’s surname.

In 2009, she competed in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national selection for Eurovision Song Contest, with the song ”You’re My World”. She advanced directly from her heat; however, she placed ninth in the final. She released her album My World in 2009. Her single ”Teardrops” was released to radio stations on 2 June 2009. 

Denise ”DeDe” Lopez

With 500 000 albums sold she has toured the world and has sold out Tokyo Dome in Japan twice! She was the only Swedish artist to open up for Michael Jackson in Gothenburg, Sweden and was opening act to 50 Cent in Helsinki, Finland.

She has worked with prominent producers and song writers such as Max Martin, Andreas Carlsson, Per Magnusson, David Kreuger, Anders Bagge, Derek Bramble (David Bowie & Whitney Houston), Herbie Crichlow, Father Mc, Pras Michel (Fugees), Mc Lyte and Michael Feiner among others.

She started her carrier as a dancer & backup singer and toured around the world between 1989-1994 with Dr.Alban, Melodie MC and the famous dance group Culture Beat (Mr. Vain). During her last year with Culture Beat she signed her first record deal and recorded the album TBA (Totally Bombastic Anecdotes) with Sony Music Sweden under her nick- name DeDe. Her second single (Party) opened up the market in Japan and her first album TBA went gold within a month.
Her most recent single ”Dare To Change The World” feat. Mc Lyte toped the US top20 chart in USA 2018.

Mia Schotte – Miio

Mia & Josefine first met in the children’s artist industry and performed together for the first time at the age of 10 years old at Soffipropp (TV4).

They have had collaborations with several Swedish rap legends such as Ken Ring, Ayo and Daddy Boastin. During the years they have been touring with the hits and still does.

Josefine Willers – Miio

Member of the duo Miio together with Mia Schotte. Mia & Josefine first met in the children’s artist industry and performed together for the first time at the age of 10 years old at Soffipropp (TV4). The group scored chart successes in Sweden between 2003–2005.
The most commercially successful new act in 2003 with two singles and an album that sold gold.

They have had collaborations with several Swedish rap legends such as Ken Ring, Ayo and Daddy Boastin. During the years they have been touring with the hits and still does.
